Is SMP the same as regular tattoos ?
Scalp micropigmentation & traditional tattoos are not the same. They do not use the same pigments and are placed in different layers of the skin. SMP uses special pigment designed to hold its true tone within the scalp. It is important to ensure your artist is using quality SMP pigments only. THE BARE HOUSE only uses high quality pigments by GHOST PIGMENTS.
How long does it last ?
SMP can last many years with minimal touchups. The longevity of your treatments is based on lifestyle, skin types and how often you get touch-ups.
Can SMP fix scars or marks on my head ?

SMP can absolutely blend a scar into the existing hair. Everyone is a candidate for SMP, as long as the scar is fully healed, not a keloid, and client is not prone to keloid scars, or immune disorders.
Does SMP look natural ? Will anyone know its a tattoo ?
The final treatment results for SMP, is that no one would ever know you’ve had it done, so yes, a natural hairline and density are the desired result that THE BARE HOUSE technicians will encourage.

Will I grow new hair ? or will SMP ruin the hair I have ?
Scalp Micropigmentation does not deter your natural hair growth, nor will it make new hair grow. You will have the exact same hair and growth cycles as before. Having SMP done will only enhance the follicles and density you already have.
Does SMP hurt ?
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, your technician will apply a mild numbing spray throughout the treatment as well as cool wipes to help take away any discomfort. Most clients say the feeling is just uncomfortable and slightly annoying, but it does not hurt. You may take Advil prior to your appointment, if necessary, as well. If you decide the pain was 2 uncomfortable, you can have a clinical numbing agent added to your service for the 2nd and 3rd treatment.
What it's cost ?
The cost per treatment varies. It is based on the level of receding or level of pattern balding. The technician will discuss the areas that need to be treated during the consultation. During the consultation you will discuss desired results, hairline options as well as the number of treatments needed with costs included.
